The People Who Make Fairmont

At Fairmont Residential, our greatest strength is our people. From support workers to senior leaders, every team member plays a vital role in delivering structured, person-centred support for autistic adults with high support needs.

Our care is guided by empathy, experience, and a deep commitment to dignity, inclusion, and positive outcomes. We work collaboratively, learn constantly, and support each other, because meaningful care starts with a team that’s connected and aligned in purpose.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Meet Our Leadership Team

Fairmont’s leadership team brings together decades of experience in health, social care, education, and complex needs services. They’re not only strategic thinkers, they’re hands-on, values-driven leaders who help shape a service that’s structured, inclusive, and person-centred.

From service development to compliance and clinical best practice, our leaders are actively involved in ensuring we remain a trusted, responsive provider. Their vision is simple: to create a safe, nurturing environment where each autistic person is empowered to live well, and each staff member is supported to deliver their best.

Our Frontline Care Professionals

Our frontline team members are the heart of Fairmont. They provide daily, individualised support to autistic people, including those who use their behaviours and emotions to assist their communication, with compassion, structure, and consistency.

These are professionals who go above and beyond every day. They learn how each person communicates, what helps them feel safe, and how to support them in a way that builds trust and promotes confidence. Whether helping with daily routines, supporting emotional regulation, or encouraging meaningful participation, our staff are there, calm, present, and committed.

Training & Development

At Fairmont, we invest in people for the long term. Every new team member completes a structured induction and receives Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training from our in-house trainer and experts by experience, modules in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and communication strategies. All staff complete Safety Intervention training with our experienced in-house trainers.

We support career development through regular supervision, ongoing learning, and clear progression pathways. Many of our senior team members began as support workers and have grown within the organisation. We believe that skilled, supported staff deliver better care , and we’re committed to helping our team build confident, meaningful careers.

A Culture of Care & Connection

Working at Fairmont means being part of a team that truly cares about the people we support and about each other. Our culture is inclusive, respectful, and grounded in shared values. We celebrate small wins, prioritise wellbeing, and maintain a working environment where everyone feels heard and appreciated.

Staff stay because they feel part of something. There’s a sense of pride in delivering excellent care, a culture of reflection and growth, and a genuine feeling of community that runs through every home.
